We are Cloudist. We are building a greener cloud – safer, smarter, and Swedish.

We are convinced that cloud-based digitalization is the future. But what if there is no future? Offering fast, simple, secure, and flexible cloud-based solutions does not create our future. Today, cloud services account for up to 3.7% of carbon emissions. For comparison, the aviation industry is at 2.5%. This must change. We have made our choice to do our part to ensure that the future of cloud services is green and sustainable. Our services are developed and designed in Malmö and delivered from some of the world’s greenest data centers in northern Sweden, powered by renewable energy.

We care just as strongly about a few other things as well — things we seem to be alone with in our industry. First, 100% predictable costs. No surprises. Second, no lock-in. No contract periods, scale up and down as needed, leave when you are done. Third, you can actually talk to us. Why not try right now? Call us, send a DM, or email us. Talk about carbon fiber bike frames, Fulham FC, pike fishing, the latest Nike SNKRS drop, or how your company and cloud services can become greener and safer. Green Clouds Ahead.

Cloudist and the Northern Lights

There are seven natural wonders of the world. Only one can be found among the clouds, the Northern Lights.

Just like Scandinavian values such as equality and democracy, the Northern Lights are an important part of our origin and heritage. For centuries, people have been captivated by the aurora borealis, and it has been part of our myths and legends. Among the Sami people, it was important to greet the Northern Lights with respect.

That respect is needed now more than ever. With increasing levels of cloud cover driven by climate change, we face a very real future where the Northern Lights may be hidden from view.

We take the beauty and struggle of the Northern Lights as a guiding light for our sustainability efforts, our green product offerings, and our visual identity. We hope to do our part to ensure that the greatest and most beautiful light show in the world remains a visible reminder that we must take responsibility for a sustainable future for cloud services and for all of us on this planet.

We may have our heads in the clouds, but we stand firmly with our feet on the ground.

Green Clouds Ahead
